In LCD I was doing my studies on 2015-2017 with more interest and enthusiasm, tried my level best to develop my knowledge in the field of social work. As a Religious Nun doing my assignment given by my religious congregation I was involving myself for Rural Development Programmes for the tribal [Sandals] in 15 Villages. I had given my interest in studies attended regular classes with more difficulties coming far from Kurmun in Purba Burdwan District. I had good rapport with the college HOD/officers / lecturers and other workers. They all were good and guided me during my studies. Their encouragement, support and guidance brought me to this level. During my college period I also got the opportunity to get different experience for each semester .Specially engaged in field work at Durgapur with rural village people, organized programmes /Rural camp in Burdwan guided by ABSK Helped me to know about their project areas and programmes/Block Placement inChildline Burdwan [ABSK].As a missionary I extend my service to the Humanity and experience the God’s Love & Care as much as I can. Thank you LCD.

My two years of MSW at Law College Durgapur have been excellent and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The years spent here have been full of learning opportunities those were full of fun and frolic and sometimes with academic grind that one has to go through. Studying at the Law College Durgapur brought an added value to my life. I am privileged to be a part of this institution which made me realise my potentiality. It gave me an opportunity to meet different kind of people and learn a number of things. The regular classes of efficient faculties in addition to field work have guided me a lot. I have received a great support from faculties. I am thankful for providing a platform to enhance my skills and an opportunity. I ended up being the Gold medallist, Burdwan University topper of 2 years MSW. Presently, I am serving as District Manager/Coordinator of GSAA under Child Protection Scheme, District Social Welfare Section, Purba Bardhaman, Govt. of West Bengal. I have got new perspective towards my life through MSW. I would remain thankful to Law College Durgapur all through my life.

​Your experience during msw - Msw is not just an academic program, it is more than a degree, apart from the professional life, whether in a family, or between the peer group, or in every aspects of life, the tools and techniques of social work gets implied.. whether if you have to accept things with non judgemental attitude, or, to be non biased in professional life, or to accept some one, and to become a patience and good listener... thus, in every prospective the degree of MSW, has always been applicable...however, during our session, we were really blessed with a very good experienced and supportive teachers and staffs, along with that we had a great bunch of class mates and seniors, where we learn to work as a team.. at the end we had a really great experiences..
