Durgapur is not only the Steel City but also becoming the Centre of Learning. Law College Durgapur, a Unit of Rahul Foundation, is the first and oldest self-financed Law College affiliated to the University of Burdwan, imparting 3-Year LL.B. course, 5-Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course,2-Year Master of Social Work (MSW) course & 1-Year P.G. Diploma in Cyber Law course since 2004 onwards and now also affiliated to the Kazi Nazrul University w.e.f. 23/06/2015.
